8A. Security check of persons boarding aircraft at aerodrome - For the purpose of securing the safety of aircraft operations, every person boarding an aircraft at an aerodrome and his hand-baggage, if any, shall be liable to be searched at the aerodrome, by an officer authorised in this behalf by the Central Government, before such person proceeds to the aircraft for embarkation.
